2013 Murrells Inlet 4th of July Boat Parade & Fireworks Display
Don’t miss this annual Inlet patriotic tradition!   The 30th Annual July 4th Boat Parade kicks off at 5pm from Garden City Point.  The parade theme is “Palmetto Pride – Inlet Tide.”  The parade will head over to the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk and then follow the Murrells Inlet shoreline down to the Hot Fish Club.  Best public viewing points are the Marshwalk, Belin Methodist Church, Nance’s Restaurant, Fuego’s Restaurant and the Hot Fish Club.  To register to be in the boat parade, go to Booty’s Outdoors, Garden City Realty, or Captain Dick’s June 15th through July 3rd.  You can register on July 4th with the committee boat which will be in the water at the Garden City Point at 4pm that day.  The Belin United Methodist Boy Scout Troop 396 will be selling the annual Boat Parade t-shirts at Booty’s Outdoors and Garden City Realty in Murrells Inlet.  Call 652-4236 for more details about the boat parade.

The Lazy Gator extends their complimentary parking for all these events – stop in and shop while you wait for the festivities – we offer ice cream, fudge and other refreshments too!

The Murrells Inlet Marshwalk restaurants will light up the skies on the 4th of July with a spectacular fireworks display.  The show, which is shot off from the end of the Veterans Pier, is scheduled to start at 10:00 pm.  Spectators can view the display from the many vantage points off the marsh shoreline, including the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk, Belin Methodist Church, Morse Park Landing next to the Hot Fish Club and the Marlin Quay Marina area.
